Tiffany, a really sweet friend of mine, was having her first baby - a sweet little girl! A week and a half before her baby shower, I was debating what to get her for her gift. I felt like the typical diapers, outfit, and toy gift was so impersonal, but I wasn't sure if I had time to make a quilt! Finally, I just decided that I was going to make her a quilt. I sent her a message to find out how she and her husband were decorating the baby's room. pale pink, light grey, and vintage bunny - ahhh, so adorable, but really hard to find! So I went to my trusty sewing friends. One awesome friend mentioned a line a fabrics that was the most adorable... and perfect! The next day, I ordered the fabric bundle. The fabric arrived on a Wednesday and the shower was on Saturday! I decided on a simple design and started cutting the fabrics! Unfortunately, some the fabrics that I ordered for the sashing and the binding did not match at all when I layed them out! I went to my stash and luckily found matching fabrics. I even had enough! I worked for the next few nights to get it finished. But as luck has it, my son was sick the day of the shower, so I was only able to stop in for about half an hour on my way to the store for medicine! Tiffany and her husband loved the quilt! I hope their sweet baby girl spends many years snuggling up in the quilt!
